Nandita Das's directorial debut has got a lot of acclaim in different film festivals.

But the release of the film has been delayed.

Nandita candidly admits, "It's a good question to the producers, I think it's due to the recession, that it has been pushed further."

But she's undeterred by the delay and is doing her bit for social causes as usual.

Nandita spoke on the topic of terrorism at Paro Anand's book Weed's launch that revolves around a child caught in between the war against terror in Kashmir along with Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

She said, "As adults it's out responsibility to see that the children are in a good environment, and this book exactly talks about that."

This is one B-Town woman with a mind of her own and who really stands up for causes her unique way. Kudos to that.
